Aaa, seeing all these super pretty gowns on my dash right now is making me super happy. Seriously, I get really excited and happy when I see pretty gowns (And historical gowns. Historical gowns [especially historically accurate gowns] ARE MY WEAKNESS) across my dash, and then I go into the "OH MY GOSH x character of mine WOULD TOTALLY WEAR THAT OR SOMETHING SIMILAR" help mode.

It inspires me to draw more pretty gowns and such for my characters, and to just DRAW and write in general. If I reblogged all the pretty gowns and such that I find across my dash, I'd be drowning my followers in pretty gowns and I think y'all would probably get tired of that, so I tend to just like them instead (Sorry to the blogs I tend to do this to!).

If you ask me about gowns and such from 1400's-1900's or so, I won't be able to stop talking (Especially if you ask me about 1500's Tudor style gowns aaa).

I'd have to say a couple of my absolute favorite blogs for this sort of thing are fripperiesandfobs medievalwear tudorcostume and for awesome PoC throughout history in art, medievalpoc (They also have really good analyses and such, really great!) just to name a few! If any of you know of any more blogs with similar content, please let me know! I could always use more reference material and inspiration on my dash! <3 I also have a weakness for historical jewelry, ehe.
