How to NEVER get an opportunity as a #StrengthCoach Intern. / If you're a college student in #ExerciseScience & want to be a #StrengthCoach, here is how NOT to reach out: / - no first name addressed, just a lazy "Hi" or "To whom this may blablabla" / - obvious cut & paste job / - show zero effort & saying "your business". / Do you not even know the name of the gym you are contacting, or is it too difficult to invest five seconds typing a few letters extra on top of a cut and paste job. / - I get these e mails very often, and The fact that aspiring "Coaches" show how blatantly lazy you are is a direct reflection of how lazy you will be as an intern. / I would never let somebody like this around the athletes, on my part it would show the ultimate disrespect towards the athletes I have the privilege of working with. / One would think that the colleges would teach the students how to properly contact other coaches when searching for an internship. / But truly, we need to teach this to kids when they are in elementary school. / Or, parents must teach your kids that effort and showing that you genuinely care is of crucial importance. / If you are a coach the number one thing you must do is GENUINELY CARE. / You are either care or you don't, you can not fake it. / Lots of fakers out there, you're better off applying for a job at the nearest drive-through fast food restaurant if this is the half assed effort you will give. / #Truth #UndergroundStrengthGym #Care #StrengthCoach #Effort #Excellence #RELENTLESS #TurningPro #MediocritySucks #AverageSucks #LiveTheCode365 #SPARTAN #Success (at Manasquan Underground Strength Gym)
