I used to have a permanent meditation alter wherever it was that I lived. I haven't put one together in many years. The tall Buddha in the middle of the picture was a gold leafed, wooden statue that I carved out of the fall-off or end piece of a 2x4 that I had lying around at the time of my inspiration to carve something like this. I gave it to my mom many years ago and I suspect that it probably ended up getting lost and discarded as she suffered from Alzheimer's. I do hope that it helped her during the time that she was still functioning normally. I miss her.
