Street Serenade
I've been wandering through this city at night for years, and I still get drawn in by moments like these. The street musician's fingers moved deftly over the accordion keys, filling the air with a lively tune that had me stopping dead in my tracks. But what really caught my attention was the young boy crouched down in front of him, completely absorbed in the music.
As I watched, the boy's eyes never left the musician's hands, his face rapt with concentration. It was clear he'd been listening for a while – his posture said it all: legs folded, arms wrapped around knees, and an expression that said "I'm drinking this in." The musician didn't seem to notice me lurking nearby; his focus was entirely on the music and the boy's reaction.
The atmosphere on the street was lively, with people passing by on their way somewhere else. But this little scene – just two humans connecting over a shared love of music – felt like its own tiny universe. I raised my camera, trying not to disrupt the moment, and snapped away. The warm light from the nearby lamp cast a golden glow over everything, and for an instant, it all felt like magic.
