Fast Lanes for Shopping?

If you find yourself at Meadowhall shopping center in Sheffield, UK, check out their new fast and slow lanes.

The new lanes help organize crowds during the rush hour -- the idea was spawned by a letter from 10-year-old customer Chloe Nash-Lowe, who said she was “incredibly disappointed” with the number of show shoppers who can cause those in a rush to be late. As a result, the shopping center is testing out a pilot with the new lanes.

The goal is to allow customers to make their way through the center more quickly, and provide them with a better shopping experience (and squeeze in a little bit more shopping during their visit!).
