Trainee Intern.
I’m finally here. At the end of the long long journey to becoming a Doctor.
I’ve always wanted to do medicine- since I was 7 years old. That seems like an awful long time for someone to want something; but in my pursuit of medicine, I found so many more interesting things to do along the way.
But now, 2017, I find myself a Trainee Intern.
My final year of medical school.
I still love it, thankfully. The thrill of talking to patients; the thrill of discovering mysteries, the joy of figuring out something. But I am so tired from so many years of study.
In 10 months time, I will be a doctor.
It seems a little too good to be true, but also in those 10 months, life is bound to change in so many ways.
6 more weeks until we go to London! I can’t wait.
