🤍🐍Yandere Perseus Headcanons 🐍🤍
(This is for one of my yandere greek mythology masterlist that had yet to be written on qoutev. One of them related to this is coming soon.)
The hero wasn't sure if he had any chances with women before, but he was 100% that he has a way with you.
When he had first saw you, you were sleeping peacefully inside your home lair with your two older sisters.
You're eyes were close shut at the time, so when he saw your face, he wasn't turned to stone.
When he had a great look at your appearance, he had to keep himself from falling into the urge to master bate himself out of lust.
He had never seen a woman or a creature that was so....beautiful.
Not normally, but unnaturally beautiful.
Despite your scary appearance, to him, you look like a the true goddess of sexual beauty.
He just couldn't bare himself to decapitate you.
If anything, he just wants to keep you to himself.
He had so badly wanted to just smashed his lips against your soft petal like lips, sink his teeth into your green yet soft skin, or to even just tangled his fingers in your hair of snakes.
But he knew that he can't risk doing that without turning into stone by waking you or your sisters up.
Good thing he came up with a quick solution to ripped a piece of fabric from his toga & used as used to blindfold your eyes while you sleep.

爪乇ᗪㄩ丂卂 — introduction
———————————————————————
You are Medusa. A beautiful priestess of Lady Athena: the virgin goddess of wisdom, strategic warfare, handicraft, and practical reason.
To honour your goddess, you have sworn an oath of celibacy, to forever stay chaste and pure, like your patron. This is the cause of dismay to many frequent visitors of Athena’s temple, as news of your gorgeous looks have spread near and far, to the point where many visit the temple simply to gaze upon the face laughter-loving Aphrodite has blessed so heavily.
Grey-eyed Athena, having noticed the unconventional intentions of her so-called “worshipers” could scoff at their pointless lusting.
🤍 ● My design of the reader as Medusa before being cursed.
Reader's are allowed to have they're own eye & skin color in the book.
My book is coming soon next week along with the books I had planned for the collection.
Medusa!Reader's Love for Mushrooms
This time, based on this clip from Apothecary Diaries:
I've been watching Apothecary Diaries more, which has led to so many ideas for me with Medusa!Reader! 😁😁😁 Including the idea of Medusa!Reader is often the one Baraka and other members of the colony call on to help resolve any health-related issues within the Tarkatan Colony, such as a rise in cholera in certain sections of the colony. This time, it is the corpse of a murder victim making its way in the groundwater.
Baraka: But how did you find out where the body was buried?
Medusa!Reader: There was evidence left behind.
Baraka: Evidence?
*Medusa!Reader then proudly displays a huge basket.*
Medusa!Reader: Mushrooms!
*Medusa!Reader's snakes' pupils dilate as she began to excitedly explain*
Medusa!Reader: The mushrooms in the area are all those that like to grow on animal carcasses and excrement!
*Medusa!Reader then taps a clawed finger gently against her mask*
Medusa!Reader: No wonder there was that peculiar rotting smell there! Who would've thought I was enjoying mushroom hunting over a corpse!
*Medusa!Reader, including her snakes suddenly stiffen when they realize they said too much about their mushrooms' origins, if Baraka and Skarteeth's stern expressions are anything to go by.*
Baraka: What are you going to do with the mushrooms?
*Medusa!Reader possesively grabs their basket of mushrooms.*
Medusa!Reader: I'll have you know all my plants are super interesting!
Baraka: Even if they grow on corpses?
Medusa!Reader: I-it's not as if they literally grow on them like the Kytinn fungus,
*Baraka stares down at Medusa!Reader with deep disapproval and his arms crossed over his chest*
Medusa!Reader: And besides, if they did, they'd be called corpse fungi instead of-
Baraka: Confiscate them!
*Medusa!Reader gasps in response. Skarteeth just takes the basket out of Medusa!Reader's arms, giving a slight bow in apology, before walking off the with confiscated mushrooms. Medusa!Reader doesn't put up a fight as she reaches for her precious mushrooms before letting out a dejected sigh, with her snakes seeming to droop in despair as well.*
Medusa!Reader thinking to herself: It was just innocent curiosity.
Author's Note: Oh and FYI, the name Skarteeth came from @tiptapricot's Kombatember Day fic, "Tarkat(an). Please consider checking it out😆
MK11 Medusa!Reader: The Sea Sorceress
I’ve been listening to Scylla from Epic the Musical on repeat, which made me think of how fitting the song is for Pre-MK1 Medusa!Reader. For those who may or may not know, I headcanon Medusa!Reader hanging out in a cove or a cave that can only be accessed by sea after Shang Tsung died, thus needing to go into hiding when Kotal became Khan. Cause he wasn’t easily going to forgive one of the people who had him imprisoned and tortured😅
(From Adobe Stock)
Of course, with some listening to Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid, I imagine Medusa!Reader still being someone with great power that can offer miracles for a price. But, on top of that, her place is a secret passage between Earthrealm and Outworld. So, what if you want to pass through Medusa!Reader’s territory safely, you have to make a deal with her one way or another? Either go to her yourself if you want safe passage or a miracle, OR pay the automatic toll of passing through her lair. That toll is six people.
Imagine it, you and your crew are drifting slowly through the dark tunnel, where there's barely any light save for the low glow of the algae and the torches you have. Out of the corner of your eyes, there appears to be movement, but given the poor lighting, it's hard to tell if it was just a small wave or something else.
Finally, halfway through the dark passage, where you can see the light from the other end, there stands a woman with green hair wearing a red and gold yukata with a black veil covering her face, standing barefoot and perfectly still in the middle of the water. She gives you a single greeting in a calm tone devoid of any emotion or warmth, which echoes throughout the cave.
"Greetings."
Then the water around her starts to ripple, with the waves becoming stronger and stronger. Then, out of the water, three scaly necks rise to their full height of about two stories each, with feline-like heads at the top of their necks. Those heads all look down at you and your crew, who may as well be mice for those monstrous felines, whose forked tongues flicker in the air to taste the fear that permeates it. At the center of these felines stood the woman you initially encountered, only now she was raising her veil to reveal the fanged grin on her serpentine face, her hair a nest of writhing snakes. You and your crew did not come prepared to fight these creatures, much less the Sorceress who commands them. There's only thing you can do.
"🎶ROW FOR YOUR LIVES!🎶"
Even as you or your crew are torn to pieces and fought over by these monstrous sea beasts, it's much more preferable than what would happen if they were to capture you alive. If either of those beasts brings you to their mistress, she'll use every part of you in her horrid experiments. Where your screams echo throughout the cave, but no one but the fish and vultures will be able to hear them. That’s when death becomes far more preferable…
Either way, Medusa!Reader hasn’t lived as long as she did alongside her late husband Shang Tsung, without doing what she needs to survive. She has no ambitions to conquer or rule (not without Shang Tsung), but has designs that see to Outworld flooded with the blood of its denizens. Yet, if she has the option of causing others like Kotal Khan’s men or his allies to drown in their sorrow and fears, she’ll gladly take it. But could others like the Kombat Kids or the Special Forces sacrifice six others to be ripped apart and devoured by Medusa!Reader's pets, or suffer a fate worse than death, all for passage through Medusa!Reader's lair?
"🎶There is no price we won't pay, we must do what it takes to survive...🎶"

Something that came to mind when it came to Medusa!Reader in Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns:
So, long-time followers of this blog know that in the timeline before MK 1, Medusa!Reader was a less-than-nice lady. She was the type of lady who liked to test new poisons and diseases on other people for her morbid curiosity and entertainment. Who also wanted to see Outworld crumble into nothing more than dust for taking her husband, Shang Tsung. The same woman who treats the world as her sandbox and all of its inhabitants possible playthings to experiment with.
My point is, MedusaReader from Titan Havik's timeline would thrive in constant chaos. No ethics or rules would prevent her from experimenting as much as her twisted heart desires, the only limit being her imagination. She would take great joy in seeing the chaos her creations unleash and witnessing others drown in the Bedlam she lovingly made. This chaotic Medusa!Reader would probably be one of the worst in ALL of reality, rivaling her Titan self in their insane imagination.
Making her one of Titan Havik's favorites.
