HONESTLY, the current predicament had all been his fault. Well, perhaps not all of it, but a good percentage of the blame belonged to a certain NEW captive who stood in the throne room, before someone he had actually came to see in the first place.
He had always hated his ‘hero’ name, and it was not surprising that no one knew who he was, unless you followed potential future heroes. Throwing ‘Respawn’ out there as a title had been a swing and a miss, and the male should not have been surprised. He was the black mark, the unknown, the stain on a reputation of outstanding individuals.
Maybe it was the yayo bumps he had taken, or maybe it was just a tired, unsatisfied desperation that had caused him to lash out, burying his first in the Inhuman guard’s face. It wasn’t until after the guard had landed on his ass that Tadd considered his actions. He considered them even more when the other second guard of the set backhanded him with a fist of armor. Unfortunately for him, that only made the bastard at the gates ,ad.
Perhaps it had not been a good idea to start a ruckus over bullshit. He was not even sure why he had done it in the first place. Seeking help while attacking two guards, and having to be subdued by others forcefully was not a great start. He would even wager that after his little fit, he would have had better luck trying to schedule an appointment, and waiting for however long that took.
“ so, uh--- i realize this probably looks pretty bad---- ”
he cleared his throat. was his nose still bleeding?
he hoped not.
“ but he definitely started it. i just wanted to meet with you,
actually. ”
