“My Meeeg IS MAXIMUM!”
Bah.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at the Australian Geographic Society Awards
Guys. Listen. I’ve been thinking about this a lot.
So, imagine that my squad are all witches. We are a coven. I’ve been thinking a lot about what kind of witch we all are, because somebody told me that planning weddings for the people I love was “weird,” so I’ve moved on.
These are my conclusions. I invite any and all to contradict/better them.
Amalie- Stitch witch. (This one seems obvious). I make new things. Bring things together. Find beauty in the worn, and torn, and make it all new so that everyone can see the beauty that was obvious to me from the beginning.
Katie- Plant witch. (Beautiful wildflowers? Yes. Spiky cacti that will kill you with their spines? Also yes.)
Meeg- Took me a long time, because plants and stitches are also important to her. But I think, baking witch. Remember that flour is heavy, and the people who lift it are strong. Also that flour can explode just like sawdust when compressed and given the right spark.
Sarah- I know what you’re thinking. She reads the stars, right? WRONG. Sarah is a word witch. A witch of the spoken and written word.
John- Is a wizard. Not because of a gender divide, but because when I think of John and magic, it’s about the integrity, effort, and slow power of learning.
Jake- is there such a thing as a coffee witch? No? I think Jake is a wind witch, because he is steady and unchanging but not inflexible or staid.
NOW FOR THE MINNEAPOLIS PEEPS (I really have thought about this a lot.)
Lex is a ceramic witch. Ceramic is fired in insane heat. It’s often utilitarian- always there when you need it- and always beautiful. Almost always, fired clay is stronger than you think it will be.
Maddie is a witch that weaves fantasy behind her as she goes, fantasies that inspire and motivate and propel. Fantasies made of ink and technology and an imagination that rests on a bedrock of humor and passion.
Kristina’s witchwork is subtle. Easy to underestimate, but no less necessary for that. Kristina’s witchwork is humor. Humor relieves tension, but it also provides scrutiny. Kristina’s witchwork operates in plain sight, investigating the elements of our lives that other take lightly- and exposing them for the serious things that they are.

oooh! I tried the mouthwash but my teeth are too sensitive - favorite cereal? hot and cold?
I guess my favorite cereal is Lucky Charms, purely because my mother wouldn't let me have it as a child. Also, I don't really eat hot cereal, unless you count oatmeal, then my favorite flavor is maple and brown sugar :D
Can I just state that I haven't stopped screaming and crying since last night's episode?
