Some doodles I've had scattered around my desk for a while, all are my ocs between different Au's 💕

Shinydoll Meefa has some very interesting jointing so I took these pictures to show how it works!

Neck isn't too crazy, but she has a separate ball for a big range of motion.

Her elbows are my favorite, they're somewhere between a hinge and a ball. The sliced design gives it enough friction to hold any position in the range flawlessly without adding a second pivot point. Cut joint for rotation.

The hips are very clever, there is a nub in the inner hip ball and a soft indent that restricts the range of motion to stop it from spinning around while also keeping good friction. This seems really hard to recreate without mushing clay though!

It's a little hard to see, but her lower torso is very solid, and the hole where the string goes from the torso to the leg is set further to the outside than I expect. Her legs are probably the most stable I've ever had and she is not sueded.

I moved and haven’t done much doll stuff, but while I’m here here’s some pictures I took of Meefa in the new yard today!

( 17 August 2022 ) Meefa needs some repairs but I still played a little dressup.

( 15 August 2022 ) My two newest.... the super cool TV_Head from @rap1993 at Resin Rose and the lovely and ethereal Shinydoll Meefa! An odd pair for sure. I used my Instax mini printer to print the screen for TV_Head though I need to photoshop a version in the right aspect ratio.
