Gilda was a pretty well behaved child as a toddler. 

Finn was a fluffy ball of chaos. 

Catra and Adora weren’t great at setting boundaries when their kids were little. 

more than once, from the age of two to five, Finn has gotten themself into something they shouldn’t have, like stuck up a tree or in the palace kitchens pantry. it was usually Meelog who took them by the scruff and brought them to Catra to be disciplined. 

Catra’s version of discipline mainly involved making Finn sit somewhere to “think about what they’d done” for ten minutes, only to feel bad and let them off after two minutes.

I love how Melog acted as Catra's inner voice. Narratively, Melog WAS Catra, just who she was on the inside.
