so I had a rise movie party with a group of friends who'd never seen it before and the highlights included:

also we got pizza for the occasion host a turtle party it's very fun :)

i’m having another one of those “it’s wild that this silly cat oc rekindled my love of drawing and brought me to meet all these cool people and grow as an artist” moments, so, uh, thanks for loving my silly lil catgirl oc, it really does truly mean the world to me. i love her so much. she’s so very dear to my heart and the fact that others love her too is SO COOL AND WHACK????? if you wanna know where i’ve been recently, the answer is: around! holidays throw me for a loop every single year and this one included a weird health scare so that was fun. but I am very grateful for the friends who took care of me and have been very kind to me.

Also did you know when you don’t spend as much time on social media you have more time to do things??? and your mental health gets better????? whack! I’m still working, making comics, and creating personal things that are for myself and not an audience which is also extremely satisfying—I’m selfish, after all—and now I have more time to read and watch shows I’ve been meaning to. All this to say I’m still busy and have irons in the fire (including putting in a big book order for ECCC this year!!! If you’re in the seattle area in march please come peruse my wares I have some good stuff) many irons. so many irons.
