This is my entry for @poketcg-art's Hoenn redraw! Mega Glalie!

Kind of random for me to enter a thing, but I really wanted to be a part of it. It was nice to sort of get reacquainted with my painterly side. Mega Glalie doesn't have a lot of cards to pick from (and honestly basically every picture of mega glalie is the same pose and angle lol) but I'm just stoked to be a part of it! Also I like glalie he's cool.

At long last, we reach the final match of Round 1. We've seen 56 different Megas so far- let's meet just a couple more!

Mega Raichu Y is the Special Attacking of the two new Raichu forms, and its attacks are something to behold! Its greatest strength is its ability to unleash its powerful attacks instantly, making it excel in quick battles that it ends decisively. Its temperament is impacted by just how much energy it generates between its tail and horns, making Mega Raichu Y wilder and more combative, making it less likely to approach battle tactically, and more likely to blast things head on! And its new ability supports that approach! With No Guard, all of Mega Raichu Y's attacks land without fail, no matter how hard its opponents try to avoid them. In return though, it opens itself up to all attacks too, which is Mega Raichu Y's biggest weakness, with its comparatively low defensive stats. That really doesn't matter that much when you have 160 Special Attack though! Is this your favourite take on Raichu? Or if not, are you at least fond enough of it to vote for it this time?

And our final contender in this huge Round 1 is Mega Glalie! In battle, Glalie has perhaps always been a little underwhelming, but its new form gives it a boost to its offense and Speed that gives it an edge in a fight! From its mouth, it can spew endless blizzards that freeze its opponents, and any prey it hunts freezes solid the instant it gets enveloped by its mouth. The catch? Mega Glalie's very jaw has been dislocated as a result of the overwhelming energy of mega evolution! This has made Mage Glalie irritable and angry, making it only more dangerous. With the ability Refrigerate, Mega Glalie's Normal moves become Ice moves, and it can take advantage of this in one of the arguably funniest ways, with it being able to access the move Explosion! It turns Mega Glalie into a icy bomb that does 250 base damage with a 20% boost from Refrigerate and a 50% boost from STAB- and unlike regular explosion it can be super effective too! If the target has an Ice weakness, then it'll be taking 900 base power to the face! Surely that's gotta help Mega Glalie let off some steam? Does Mega Glalie get a sympathy vote for its poor jaw? Or its exploding antics? Only you can say!
