A good number of months and content updates after the initial release, Mega Maker is actually nearly usuable at this point. It's nearly forgotten due to launching with boring stuff, but I'd say it's a great way to screw around now at this point.
Here's a mean and long castle stage of a level I just made: Transdimensional Roundabout, ID: 221317. I focused down hard on a lot of combinations-based iteration, and played with branching paths plus some wild stuff most romhacks could never do. It's also got some Metaphors, of course.

Mega Maker is an impressive fan made project that allows players to build, play and share Mega Man levels using a Mario Maker-style suite of editing and sharing tools with a wide array of tile sets, weapons, songs, enemies and bosses.

No. 91 - Mistakes Were Made
