Can we take a moment to appreciate that Red Barrels had giving the players help without breaking immersion since the first Outlast btw? They provided map diagrams at least for the basement generator sequence and the sewer segment. I greatly appreciate their “reading is fundamental” design since they started with it, and then expanded on it with The Outlast Trials. The game doesn’t feel so hard to navigate when you slow down and seek out the clues like this, even though it’s easy to miss it while panicking lol
