MEGABRIGHTS - The Home Map

My Third Game

This game is the improvement version of the "Home" map from my first game “MegaBrights Experimental Scenarios”.

The objective of this project was to improve visually the sprites, musics and sounds from that part of game and in general.

Just like the first game, this one doesn’t have an objective or a gameplay loop. It’s just a map where you can walk around with the addition that now you can talk to people.

The Awakening

My first animation in Pixel Art :D

It's about the birth of Meggy from my original story Megabrights. I've made a pilot comic about it. You can read it here if you want. Completed in late 2024 and early 2025 for a final project in a university course.

I was not sure if I should post it, but I decided to post it anyways.

My First ever Game: MegaBrights Experimental Scenarios

It has a good first try.

MegaBrights Experimental Scenarios 0.13.1 is the first “game” that I ever did.

And what I mean by “game” is that this "game" is not a game. This is just experimental scenarios for what could be a video game. A prototype. This has absolutely no gameplay.

In the future, I would like to develop this idea, MegaBrights, beyond just an experimental game.

Being that this is my first game, it was also my first time making sprites for a game and overall, my first time making pixel art.

I did this in the second half of 2023 and since then I've developed my pixel art skills a lot, so the art in this project is outdated. I will make an improved version of these experimental scenarios soon.
