King of Wasps?
The megalara garuda, also know as the King of Wasps, was discovered in Indonesia. The venomous giant wasp was official discovered in Mekongga Mountains on the Indonesia island of Sulawesi in 2011.
Average males = 2inches in length, and have longer lower jaw that is similar to the size of their forelegs.
Although the wasp was collected in 1930 on another expedition to Indonesia, it was not living. The first live specimen was captured and documented in 2011.
This species is endangered; much due to environmental factors.

Those jaws are used in copulation. Kudos for the researcher team who had managed to make it through the hellish Indonesian weather difficult terrain and climate.
