Shirogane treasured each and all memories he had from both the people he hold dearest; bringing smiles to him in unexpected moments. His life was complex, but that was not going to stop him to take joy in it.

“Welcome to-”, started Toru, just to be interrupted rudely by the newcomer, who just mumbled a ‘sorry’ and kept walking ahead. He couldn’t blame him though, dimension-crossing did leave the travelers fatigued, some even forgot how or who they were before getting there.
“Are you aware that this might not be the place you were going,” continued Toru, “This is a world that slowly retains its visitors. The longer you stay here, the longer you fusion with it. You will end up looking like the faceless people from the town you passed before. Crossing to the next world now is better.”
The newcomer suddenly stopped.
“I think I finally remember what I was looking for”, he said. “For a while I got confused and forgot what I was looking for, I just knew I nedded to keep jumping and crossing.
I think I was looking for you”
“Stained glass”, meganebu ship week (white)
A little explanation about this AU: The meganebu creates some sort of glasses that transport the user to parallel universes. For some reason, Toru ends up using them first. Since he is wearing the glasses (they got combined with his own glasses when he wore them the first time), he doesn’t “blend” with the others, but has been there enough time to see other people that arrived and became faceless (when I say that, I mean that they end up looking like the non-glassers from canonverse). But like all other previous glasses that meganebu ever made, they deteriorate with time, causing Toru to start losing his own memories.Meanwhile in their current dimension, meganebu+himakai are trying to get Toru back. They make another pair of glasses that might work the same, and Akira volunteers to bring Toru back; but the problem is that with each parallel universe he crosses, he also starts to lose his own memories. That until he ends up in an alternate version of Sabae, where Toru is. And then they need to figure out how to get away before both blend with the world.
I wasnt too comfy w/ ship week because I'm not a very shippy person and I know its not JUST for ships but i mean it kinda is and sometimes I feel like the mgnb fandom is overly ship-oriented? Idk man I just think it might be better to call it just mgnb week in general without all the emphasis on romo stuff. Just my 2 cents
I see. That’s a good idea.
Actually yes, the reason behind this concept was about ships, but, if more people are interested in just a meganebu week in general, then we can plan for that accordingly.
Greetings, fandom! We were overjoyed at all the the participation in the our very first ship week! It was fun see everyone’s fabulous work!. Now the excitement leads us to ask-
Would you like to have another ship week in June?
The rules would stay the same as here. As for the prompts, we’d like to listen to all your ideas and decide based on that! So please tell us what would you like!
They were so different, and didn’t even seem to like each other.
Their interests were different. When one said red, the other said blue. The tea is too hot, the tea was too cold. One loved scary movies, the other just wanted to watch the latest action movie. And while one liked sports, the other could barely survive their PE class.
What started as a truce, soon evolved to going back home together, walking Norio-san on sundays or eventually sleeping over on a desperate attempt to memorize whatever contents were due on next day’s test.
When they noticed, their fights were just playful, they were sharing lunches without the rest of the club and their cheeks were warm while holding hands.
- Did you hear about Kimata and Kamatani? It seems they are an item now...
- No way! But I thought those two couldn’t even stay on the same room together...?
They were completely different, and just like two pieces of puzzle, it was what made them fit perfectly.
It’s over! Thanks to everyone that joined us! It was fun for us, we hope you all had fun too!
If you get behind with any day or prompt and would like to finish it, that’s ok! Just tag it as #meganebushipweek as usual!
And we’d appreciate a lot if you could give us feedback! What did you think of the idea, if we should repeat it, what would you change, just anything you’d like to say, we’d be more than happy to hear it
Antonio’s hands went lazily up and down Hayato’s sides, as the other, holding his face, did most of the kissing, as usual. The taller liked this: half-lying in his bed; his boyfriend in top of him, kissing his cheeks and nose and lips while he just closed his eyes and let him do whatever he wanted; rain pouring outside the window.
Because of the weather they decided to not go out as they had planned and instead just stay inside, but it was as good as having a date on the park. Hayato’s fingers moved to tangle in the brown locks and licked Antonio’s lips, to which he answered by opening his mouth, allowing the kiss to be deeper.
It was so soothing and pleasant that Antonio could easily melt into their closeness.
Except for one little thing that he tried to not pay mind about but kept bothering him.
Every single time Hayato tilted his face, the frames of the now crooked red glasses would dig against his skin, perturbing this otherwise comforting moment. So he settled his hands in the other’s shoulders and pushed him slightly apart.
“Just a sec” He muttered and took of the glasses, folding them and placing them down besides him “Much better” He smiled and tried to pull Hayato closer, but his boyfriend didn’t lean. Instead, he retrieved the glasses and put them back.
“Tony, you can’t just take go on and take my glasses!” He scolded, frowning confusedly.
“What do you mean?” Antonio asked, starting to laugh but stopping at the other was serious. “Just take them off for now” His hand moved to remove them again but Hayato pushed it away, frowning more “Please?” Antonio insisted
Hayato looked down, and shook his head.
“No” Was all he answered.
Antonio moved into a more sitting position, frowning too.
“Hold on, are you serious? You really don’t want to take them off?” Hayato didn’t reply, so he kept talking. “It’s not like you need them! Why does it matter?” He questioned.
“Why does it matters to you?” Hayato retorted, looking up to meet with his eyes and then lowering his gaze again “I don’t think it bothers you that much” He added in a low tone, and Antonio wasn’t sure what it meant.
“I can’t believe we’re really discussing if you should keep or not your fake glasses on” He sighed and he mean to lighten the mood, but the shorter winced.
“You just don’t know what you’re talking about” Hayato whispered after some seconds, pulling apart and standing up.
“Hey, wait!” Antonio called, disconcerted, thinking the other was going to leave “Are you mad at me? Is it because I called them “fake glasses”?”
There was just silence and Antonio knew it meant he was right.
He raised an eyebrow, completely perplexed.
“It can’t be- Mitsuki says it all the time! Heck, your whole club calls them that way!” He ranted and Hayato clenched his fists.
“My club has nothing to do with it so don’t bring it up!” He replied, raising the volume of his voice and turning his back to the bed.
Antonio stood up and grabbed his arm.
“I bring it up because it’s stupid! You just use those glasses to fit with them and they don’t even appreciate you! You could do so much better but you’re stuck with them for some reason! They don’t even need you to make a number; they already bribed the president into not shutting them down!” He let out passionately, not being able anymore to keep it to himself as he was doing for a long time now. “They treat you bad just because your vision is perfect! That's stupid! Just drop the club and drop the glasses!” He finished, and Hayato shook off his arm.
“Shut up! You don’t understand it!” He yelled and Antonio let him go, speechless. Had he went too far? “I'm going home” He announced bitterly.
“Wait, it's still raining! Hayato!” Antonio reacted when the other was already leaving.
“I don't care!” Was the answer he got.
Balancing a large pile of papers, Toru walked down the hallway, eventually scolding some student when it was necessary.
“Ah, Kimata!” He called out when he catched the sight of a red jumpsuit in an empty classroom, approaching the first year and waiting until he turned to him. “Can I ask you to tell Tanaka that-“
“I'd rather not” Hayato interrupted dryly.
“Ah… I-I see…” Toru muttered, understanding what he meant “I-is there something I can do to help?” He offered with an apologetic smile.
Hayato shook his head, quietly mumbling “Thanks anyway”, and he nodded and went out.
Minutes later he returned, now with his hands free, and sat down next to the other, who didn't exactly looked like he was feeling good.
“Sorry, I know this isn't really my place” He said, and his panting made it clear that he walked fast the way back, not ran because running wasn't allowed in the halls “I just remembered that I'd seen Tanaka was down too, and, correct me if I'm wrong, you guys hasn't really talked about… whatever happened between you, right?”
Hayato opened wide his eyes, and nodded with his head.
“You're right”
“I don't want to tell you what to do, but I know it isn't good to keep things bottled” Toru continued, blushing faintly. Of all the glasses club members, Hayato was the one he found less annoying, more comfortable to be around, and he sincerely wanted to help him. “And that doesn't sound like you. Like any of you” He added and the younger bit his lip.
“I know!” Hayato answered, sounding helpless “It was our first discussion, and I don't know how to talk to him now…” He confessed.
“Say that to him. That you don't know what to say. You'll find a way together” Toru assured, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Does it works for you, senpai?” Hayato looked at him with big eyes, and Toru blushed even more “I see you and the president discussing all the time. That's how you two fix it?”
Toru nodded and scratched his cheek.
“That's what we try, yes. It isn't exactly easy… but we try” He stated with a soft smile, and shyly ruffled the other's hair. “I have to go now”
“Thanks” Hayato muttered, looking at the other until he was out of sight, and then stood up to search for his boyfriend.
He couldn't find Antonio outside classes, and so he was already thinking that he wouldn't get the chance to talk to him that day.
But as he was walked home, he felt rushed steps behind him, and strong arms pulled him into a hug.
“Tony!” He exclaimed, surprised, and hugged back.
They stayed like that for some seconds, until Antonio pulled back.
“You were right, Hayato” He muttered and Hayato looked up at his face, confused. “I don't understand it” Antonio explained. “Maybe I need glasses to see what you think?” He asked with a small smile, and Hayato laughed, hugging him again. “No, but really, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I don't want you to stay mad at me” The taller kept talking.
“I won't” Hayato guaranteed, burying his face on the other's broad chest.
“So… will you tell me? About the glasses?” Antonio asked cautiously.
Hayato stood still for a second, and then slowly shook his head.
“For now I just want to hug you, Tony. Is that alright?”
“Sounds good for me” Antonio answered, kissing the top of his head.
