I am a fan when a character protects and concerns another character. It just melts me.
They were so different, and didn’t even seem to like each other.
Their interests were different. When one said red, the other said blue. The tea is too hot, the tea was too cold. One loved scary movies, the other just wanted to watch the latest action movie. And while one liked sports, the other could barely survive their PE class.
What started as a truce, soon evolved to going back home together, walking Norio-san on sundays or eventually sleeping over on a desperate attempt to memorize whatever contents were due on next day’s test.
When they noticed, their fights were just playful, they were sharing lunches without the rest of the club and their cheeks were warm while holding hands.
- Did you hear about Kimata and Kamatani? It seems they are an item now...
- No way! But I thought those two couldn’t even stay on the same room together...?
They were completely different, and just like two pieces of puzzle, it was what made them fit perfectly.

Meganebu Ship Week- Red (Hayamitsu)
(Because I'm really good at totally missing out on important things like this) Red. It always had to be red. Hayato knew that it was probably weird for him to get mad at a COLOUR, but at this point in his life, he really didn't care anymore. Red was always taunting him. He could sometimes tell that the dulled, muddled colour he was seeing wasn't actually a shade of green, but other times he was completely clueless to the fact that he was seeing a different world than everyone else. He wanted to see that vibrancy that everyone else could see. It was a wish that would always remain just that. A wish. "I think we've made a breakthrough this time!" Akira cheered as Hayato entered the clubroom. Hayato blinked at the setup. Akira stood atop the table, proudly raising a glasses model in his hands like a prize. The other club members stood around him, Yukiya nervously making sure that Akira didn't fall off of the table and break a bone, and Takuma and Mitsuki sitting down and eating cream puffs. Realisation finally hit Hayato, "EH?! You made progress? As in, completing the x-ray glasses?!?" He frantically looked at the group for an answer. Internally, he was crying. "I was 5 minutes late ONE TIME, and they completed the glasses without me!!!" Akira chuckled before jumping off the table (and nearly giving Yukiya a heart attack in the process.) "Not yet, Hayato! These glasses are only to test a component of our final goal!" Akira grinned victoriously, "and we were just waiting for you to get here!" Hayato stuttered in surprise, "M-me?! Why were you waiting for me?" Takuma stood from his seat at this point, moving towards Hayato, "This is something that only you can do." Yukiya nodded in agreement to this statement. Akira jumped back into the conversation, "So with that being said, prepares to be amazed!!!" And then the glasses were placed onto Hayato's face. His mind was spinning. "What is this? W-what am I looking at?" He turned around slowly, taking everything in slowly so that he could capture an image of everything he was seeing. "Is this what the world really is?" Hayato took off the glasses as he felt tears begin to stream down his face. He turned to the other Meganebu members and asked them the question he had been dying to ask for his entire life. "Is... Is this the world that you see?" Akira kneeled down so that he was eye to eye with Hayato. "These glasses are specifically designed to show the full spectrum of visible colour to those who are unable to see it. You were the only one of us who could properly test this invention." Hayato choked back a sob, "Th-thank you," as he began to wipe his eyes. Akira smiled softly in return, "I'm probably not the one you should thank for this. These glasses were all Mitsuki's idea." A short gasp came from both Hayato and Mitsuki, the latter of which began to redden with embarrassment. A red that Hayato could clearly see. Pulled out of his stupor, Hayato ran to Mitsuki, and leaping towards him, shouted his thanks. Mitsuki's red face was a sight that Hayato would never forget for as long as he lived. (Hayato also realised how much his clothing clashed, and wondered why no one had ever told him that his jumpsuit was a fashion travesty. But that was a problem for another time.) [this was based on those glasses created by scientists that allowed for colourblind people to see the full spectrum of colours for the first time.]

"Their" song: MMMmm there are a few, BUT LUVORATORRRRRY IS JUST TOO PERFECT OK (look at Fire Flower too and also this one.)
Who does more housework: HAHA-yato. Mitsuki tries to help out but he loses energy and patience fast. Hayato hates housework though so they usually just eat out and send their laundry to Yuuto’s house (Yuuto blames Hayato but it was Mitsuki’s idea)
What couple cosplay they should do: crap idk. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask????
Who cried watching Toy Story 3: Mitsuki cried when the opening music came on and Hayato laughed at him, but Hayato was SOBBING after the first scene and so yeah. (they almost had to be escorted out of the theatre but everyone else was crying too so…)
Who hogs the blankets at night: Hayato throws them onto Mitsuki cause he gets too hot, so Mitsuki kicks Hayato off the bed and Mitsuki snuggles close to Hayato wrapped up in a bundle of blankets
What they fight about: Mitsuki yells at Hayato for trying to be like Akira and Hayato yells back that he just wants to be the best person he can be for Mitsuki but Mitsuki loves Hayato as Hayato: a stupid, dumb, fake glasses loser who is kind and loyal and always will love him UGH HOLD ME
Who has more Facebook friends: Mitsuki gets a whole bunch of creepy dude requests because of his cute face and if any start trying to talk to him, Hayato takes care of it.
One headcanon about them: Hayato loves every one of Mitsuki’s expressions: when he’s mad, when he’s happy, when he’s pouting. So he tries to document them by taking pictures of Mitsuki when the other boy’s not looking. During classes he gets pictures of bored Mitsuki, during club he takes pics of Mitsuki looking at Akira with admiration and glaring at Hayato as he sees the camera. And sometimes Hayato gets an image of Mitsuki that shows a look of complete longing and unrestricted emotional passion as he looks at Hayato; this is the one image that he never needs on camera, he thinks as Mitsuki pulls him in for a kiss.
I have to admit it, Hayamitsu was so canon from the very beginning
If you're still doing the colour pallet drawing thing, what about Hayato (or HayaMitsu) in #16? (^-^)
Hayato really loves Mitsuki, and he wants everyone else to love Mitsuki too (albeit, not as much as he loves him.) So he starts a Mitsuki fan club. He calls it... Mitsuki-bu.
Upon finding out about it, Mitsuki smacks Hayato across the face.
