after working on her on and off for a few weeks, the light dragon is complete!!!! i loved crocheting this pattern so much i'm actually a little sad she's done now 🥲💔 BUT i can't be that sad because she goes to a loving home (my tattoo artist) on the 26th!!!

i followed the "Crochet Light Dragon pattern, Zelda TOTK" pattern by Crochetdollsbyfifi on etsy!!! i HIGHLY recommend this pattern guys it's only $6 you won't regret it, and the seller is so kind 🥹

colors used:

lion brand heartland in "congaree"

lion brand basic stitch in "mustard"

k+c essentials cotton in "gold coast"

crochet thread in green

3/4" buttons in teal

a weight 3 or 4 purple yarn i lost the tag for

bernat baby blanket yarn in "baby sand"

bernat baby blanket yarn in "white"

okay so sam's statement got me thinking

magnus protocol fear versus magnus archives fears really feel like they share the same kind of creation relationship as humans to gods:

various religious texts and scripts say that humans were made in the shape of god(s) (tma), but if we take a more atheist perspective then gods would in fact be made in the shape of humans (tmagp) because humans created something to believe in.

this is probably my favorite crochet pattern i have ever used 🥹🥹🥹 LOOK AT HOW TINY AND CUTE THIS PIE IS!!!!!

i made this little guy following CauliCrochet's pattern (available on their youtube channel in both written pattern and demonstrated video!)

materials used:

aunt lydia's crochet thread size 10 in red and silver and cream

size 8/0 czech seed beads in red

1.5mm micro/steel crochet hook (i like the addi swings for their massive handles because it helps counterbalance when i'm working with tiny thread)

generic stuffing

a paper tag glued inside the pie tin (i won't do this again, it made it too stiff)

and little tapestry needles for sewing it all together!

i ended up working this whole piece in the round without joining rows to see how i liked it, but it came out a little wonky so next time i think i'll follow the pattern instructions to "invisible join and chain 1" at the end of each row :)
