I want to take a moment to recognize Cleo for becoming a literal regalia legend. I would argue that they have been the inspiration and motivation for so many to finally let go of colorless regalia across the Taíno Nation, across communities and yukayekes. Their contributions to our culture should be recognized and appreciated by all.

I almost didn’t post it too because they are such bullshit that I thought non-taino bloggers would see through it

But then I saw a mod from reclaimingthelatinatag not just co-signing their shit, but engaging in the harassment themselves without ANY critical analysis of what they were doing. Literally accepting two individuals (with no accountable community nor credibility) words at face value. 

Then after they “called” me out and swore to have wrote me off, it came to my attention that they had (a few months ago) LITERALLY used my name to establish credibility to “discredit” another taino. Which for your fyi- Megawattglitter is taino. I would NEVER harm my own community by vilifying and invalidating their existence and co-signing such behavior. I was literally used by this group as a resource to establish credibility while being subjected to their harassment and racial misidentification on multiple occasions and without apology.

This whole “we’re going to accept the word of two bloggers, over the existence of over hundred blogger” thing going on is unacceptable and every blogger who dared agree with them SHOULD feel very ashamed for participating in dehumanizing us.

Are you referring to their shitposts? Aren’t they still defending Princess Nokia/Wavy Spice as ‘taino’? 

Sorry, but we can’t take someone who posts in the #taino tag and then makes claims of “stalking” seriously. Anytime ‘taino’ is mentioned, it shows up on mobile. Anyone who checks the tag can see it. It’s disrespectful and disgusting to victims and we’re not going to put up with it.

We can’t take someone who talks about “womb healing” and “wolf medicine” seriously.
