Mother's day Web Weave for Helaena and Megette

"it was well known that the princess Helaena was fond (and some others would say more than fond) of her cousin and lady in waiting, Lady Megette. The two could aften be fond side by side and with matching jewellery.

Though dark of hair and dark of eyes, it can not be said that rouge prince's eldest daughter did not live up to her father's legacy. It is now common knowledge of how Lady Megette stole into her lady's room and spirited away Princess Helaena in the dead of night, the day before her wedding to her brother Aegon. Flying to Essos where they stated for a number of years. The two were only brought back to Westeros with the King's ailing health. Where the they reconnected with the oldest Velaryon prince, Jacaerys.

When again plans were make to marry Princess Helaena off to her elder brother, the two disappeared as if into thin air. It was only found out later on that the two fled to Dragonstone and both wedded in a Valyrian ceremony to Prince Jacaerys.

When asked all the Prince was quoted to have said was, "Many people are lucky to have found one great love in their life. How fortunate then am I to have found two"

Hiya Skipper!!! Thank you so much for sending this in.

As you know this started out as a wee stray thought before becoming an au and now becoming canon. Its one's one of my longest WIPs, 3774 words so far and only mid way finished.

When Megette first came to the red keep, she had a nasty habit of wandering, inadvertently finding some of Meogor’s exit route. Naturally she said nothing to them, lest they be boarded up. The dragon rider doesn't doubt that there are still many left undiscovered. One such exit was located in Helaena's bathing chamber. A torch of a carved dragon, when pulled, opened a door. Out of a hidden exit they slip into a tunnel and onto the street of flea bottom. The two stay hand in hand with each other, Megette often dragging Helaena when the latter lagged behind. Just as the castle was in a state of disarray, so too were the streets outside. The small folk celebrated the upcoming wedding in ways far more entertaining than in the red walls. Fire eaters blow a great burst of fiery breath into the night air. Lovers rutted in stray alleys, food stalls lined every street. Even though it was well past midnight, children ran wild in the streets. Mummers played in an open square, acting the parts of the royal family. Helaena laughs at the mummer playing the part of Aegon

I think with Megette and Helaena the audience would get a lot of there dynamic wrong, commonly mistake the two for being romantically in love. They would be a popular ship within the hotd shipping space.

🥰: How would someone who loved you portray you?

I think someone who loved her had to portray her as both feminine and strong. They would have to factor in the struggles she faces with strong ties to her family vs her own sense of self. Her love and homesickness for her home Runestone vs her insane wanderlust.
