Been working on my drawing my ocs a lot lately. It’s been lots of fun doodling them- though if I were to draw ALL of the ocs I have it’d take so very long lol
Hargon shivered, his fins folded down as the giant demon’s breath washed over him. He suddenly regretted not allowing his other followers accompany him into the hollowed out caverns, Atlas especially. Despite him being confident and skilled in magic spells- this entity looked like they would simply snap him up in a single bite if he made the wrong move or said something to offend them.
A deep rumbling chuckle resounded from their maw and made it feel as if the ground was shaking. The High Priest gripped his staff tighter, the glow of the red crystal being his only form of comfort as the creature moved closer, the massive teeth just inches away from his face.
The three eyes were solely fixated on him, their gaze freezing him in place out of pure anxiety. “Ah, so you are Hargon.” Their voice sounded like an echo.
They inhaled a breath of air, the simple action causing his cloak to flow towards them. “I have heard your prayers.” His fins pricked up.
This unfamiliar creature- they...they were the voice that whispered in his head when he offered payers to his God? Their voice sounded so different. But those eyes that gazed down at him... Now that he regained his nerves he realized that they were indeed familiar. They were the three crimson eyes that glared down at him in the darkness of his dreams. The dreams where terrifying clawed hands emerged from the dark, talons scraping against the shadowed floor and beckoning him. Urging him to find them.
And he finally did.
“Should you wish it, I shall aid you towards your goal. I shall make it so your God may finally exist in this world.”
Hearing the sound of their rumbling voice again made him snap out of his stupor. Hargon couldn’t really believe what he was hearing. “You... you’re capable of such things?”
The demon god’s jaws moved in an attempt of a smile, though it was no where near comforting seeing those fangs close like a vice together. “Of course,” they grinned yet it looked nothing like one, “it is a simple task.”
Bringing forth a God, a simple task!? Hargon would’ve laugh had he not been so cautious of the demon resting before him. They leaned even closer to him, and he took a reflexive step back. A cold sweat broke out on him. “And a simple exchange.”
If they thought summoning a God was an easy task he was almost afraid to ask about what this ‘simple’ exchange was. “An exchange?”
The massive demon’s eye’s glimmered. “Offer unto me your soul. And you shall be gifted your God.”
He balked at the idea. Give his soul- to what he assumed to be a another God- one that he didn’t even know the name of!? The very idea was preposterous! But... their offer was tempting.
He gritted his teeth, gathered his courage, and jutted the staff at the other demon. The crystal tapped feebly against a fang. “Even if I give you my soul, I will not worship you! The faith in my God is absolute!” The response he got to his outburst wasn’t one he expected. A loud snort and the gust of wind from them nearly knocked him off his feet. Four clawed hands he somehow hadn’t noticed emerged from the dark and slammed into the ground lifting the other worldly creature and making them appear even taller than they already were. The giant demon’s maw opened wide and what he could only guess was a laugh escaped from between their sharpened teeth.
“Such gall!” Their eyes looked amused as they gazed down at him. “I do not require your worship. I need your soul for other means. So...” Their neck slithered back down to him, head tilted to the side so only two eyes leered at him. “Will you accept? It’s an offer few would refuse.”
Been trying to get used to drawing Margaret/Megidogan and the Destructive Trio. Especially since I’ve been trying to plan on drawing more scenes with them.
