9 - Do you tend to play male or female characters most?
Definitely female characters, all my ‘canon’ playthroughs are as women, and most of my au wardens are as well. I am currently on a dai run with m!cadash (gonna romance Cassandra, aww yiss) but it is going veeeerry slowly because i’m on nightmare difficulty
18 - Who did you choose to rule Fereldan?
ANORA! Anora solo rule is my absolute favorite. It seems like the best choice in-universe. She is quite able, and beloved already by the people. Meanwhile, making her marry you as Cousland seems cruel and power-hungry, and Alistair… means well? Although I’m told he makes a good king, and apparently he is the “right” choice, my Warden has no way to know that, and if he’s not even willing to lead your party how can she force him to be king of Ferelden? For my own personal headcanon, though, I like to think that she does choose to marry non-warden!Cousland after the blight, i think he would make a good prince-consort.
27 - Which did you leave behind (Abyss)?
Well, I’m the only Alistair-romancer that let him die in the end (*cries*) so my Warden was Stroud. It was easy to leave him behind, because I still haven’t finished DA2 (shhh, don’t tell anyone) so I had no idea who he was. In-universe, however, the wardens’ arguments for staying behind make more sense than Hawke’s. The only reason you’re in this whole fade mess is because of the Grey Wardens, and Stroud (or the others) are a high-ranking Warden, and from Adaar’s perspective as the leader of an army it is right that they should take the responsibility for the actions of their order (although it’s still sad). Meanwhile, Hawke is just some random chick from Kirkwall who has a death wish or smth.
36 - What kind of DLC do you hope for for DA:I?
I’m totally here for “wolf hunt,” it makes the most sense, storywise. And/or something following up with the eluvians (plus guest appearance by merrill? yes?) It would be good to see some consequence to whatever your choice was in Orlais, that seemed like a dangling plot thread a bit, although it may be saved for the next game (as would, i assume, anything with the wardens) I would also like maybe a new region added to run around in? Plus a mabari companion where is my mabari companion i have a complaint to register. I would also like the ability to ask Josephine to marry me plzkthx
45 - Which 3 DA characters would you want as your best friends?
Bethany, Cassandra and Dorian. I am pleased to say that I already have close friends that share the qualities I admire in them.
54 - Fluffiest headcanon ever?
After she returns from her mission, Warden-Commander Amell gifts Adaar with a mabari puppy sired by her own mabari, which is a great honor. The damn thing refuses to war-hound, however, and believes itself to be a tiny Orlesian lapdog. It sleeps curled up smack dab in the middle of the Inquisitor’s bed, follows Josephine around all day, and tracks mud all over her fine clothes. She doesn’t even mind a little bit.
63 - Best story moment?
The return of Jowan during the Redcliffe quest in DAO. Actually, I think the whole Origin -> Broken Circle -> Redcliffe -> Morrigan’s Dark Ritual story progression works best for the Magi warden, but then I’m very biased. It’s a great story about blood magic and sacrifice and corruption… In any case, I remember swearing loudly at the screen when that fool showed back up. Letting him go but telling him never to let me see him again is really the character-defining moment for my Amell, and it’s opened so many storyline questions for her in the post-game. (What will she think when she finally meets cousin Hawke? What will she think when she meets cousin Hawke and Merrill??)

Vespidaequeen’s Ismat Hawke fics (as they are the first DA2 fics I’ve ever read, and I love her Hawke, and I really need to re-read now that I know more of the game)
If I was evil, I could also reccommed Fire Walk With Me by Khirsah, but it is a WiP, and only evil people recommend WiPs. On the other hand… soulmate AU with Fenris and mage!Hawke *cries about all soulmate aus and Fenris/mage pairings*
90 - Do you run an DA-themed blog/page/website?
I run this blog? It’s technically a personal blog, though. DA has pretty much taken over, even though I’m still also all about the Marvel here. I should totally make a sideblog for something DA related, though. I don’t know what doesn’t already have blogs dedicated to it, though, any suggestions?
99 - Where would you live (Fereldan, Orlais, Free Marches etc?)
I am a proud Ferelden dog-lord (although I’d probably be a cat-lord, given the choice) Hey, I worked hard to make Ferelden a lovely place to live in that first game, so I intend to reap the benefits of my labors!
