Reading your zoom story and the tags... oh to watch a train wreak as it happens😂😂... but also BS the GOAT abbreviation to your own shorthand... but I can relate to the lovely benefits of watching anime whilst my lecture is happening... one of the best things to happen cause wearing headphones in my PJs is the norm!

Aaah yes! The perks of zooming! Just doing something entirely different while pretending to listen. Mind you, I didn't go as far as you and watched something while in a Zoom meeting because sometimes I have to speak and contribute to the meeting unfortunately.

I think it's different with lectures because I'm guessing there are a whole bunch of students in the hall and it wouldn't really be too obvious whether or not you are paying attention. I remember I used to put my earbuds under my beanie and be zoning out to Linkin Park while my linguistics professor went on and on about the damned Sapir-whorf Hypothesis.

But yeah, that Zoom meeting was something else. My boss didn't really see the GOAT fiasco apparently because she didn't mention it at all. Or maybe she did and she chose to ignore my silly antics.

But I was ready with an abbreviation if she did ask about it.

Hey Foley I'm finally getting around to using my iPad for more that notes and the biggest issue I've when drawing is finding a good free app(is it really worth paying, if so any recommendations?) And the fact that there's no friction! My lines are never clean and I keep going back to paper. Sorry I know you get a lot of these but I'd really love your help!

I’m not up on any free drawing apps, but I feel you get the greatest bang for your buck with Procreate. I use that and Clip Studio Pro, but CSP is subscription based and that’s really only worth it if you work in that program A LOT. 

For basic doodling and getting comfortable with the iPad as a tool, I’d say invest in Procreate.

Now, as far as that lack of friction… I personally don’t notice it, but my move was from a Cintiq to the iPad, glass to glass. You’re going PAPER to GLASS and that’s a tough transition. There is a product called PaperLike that you can pick up that helps add more grippy surface to your iPad screen. I have a few friends who I trust who really like the feel.

Hey I love your Lookbook series and was wondering if you had another idea on how Henry (from season 1-6) should've dressed or how his style should've evolved?

I actually wound up writing the itty bitty Henry post because I had trouble finding stuff for an older boy that was obviously models, not personal pictures. I’ve said somewhere that I’m trying to avoid using pictures from fashion and craft bloggers, and that’s especially true with pictures of little kids. I just don’t feel like I have permission to use people’s personal pictures.

Anyway, I’m mostly fine with how Henry dressed, although some variety wouldn’t have killed anyone. I suspect I’d stick him in more things like Captain America t-shirts and probably more sweaters (although with how slowly the timeline moved, Jared would have been wearing sweaters in July, so maybe not). The button-down shirts are kind of an odd choice compared to the boys that age I know, but I see that as Regina’s influence.

I’ll take another stab at it, though.

Hey Mickey how are you holding up? It’s been a while

It HAS been a while, hasn't it! I guess it's just been a crazy year for everyone! Can you believe we're already in July?!! Didn't 2020 JUST begin! But also... WHEN WILL 2020 BE OVER?!! Am I the only feeling like that?!

I'm doing alright. Just hanging in there as much as I can. Sadly, I'm unemployed because of this pandemic so I'm out there tryna make a good impression on people while being somewhat socially awkward but also sometimes too social and just rambling to answer questions.

My last phone interview, the lady asked me about some of my accomplishments. My brain - of course - completely froze and I said, "I can now spell the word quarantine without messing it up!"

I did swear to her that I was at least 80% sane.
