Umaibo-- essential dorm room snacks. Meigaku International Student Housing, Totsuka Ward, Yokohama.
Fun fact: I didn’t pick up enough Japanese to read these-- But the soccer flavor is delicious.

BREAK JAM !
This last Monday, my friend Misato introduced me to the BREAK JAM club at Meiji Gakuin which is a hip hop dance club. I was able to meet so many new people! They are all very welcoming and friendly as well. There was an introduction where the each group performed to show the newcomers whats upp. The genres are locking (I kept thinking that they said ROCK dance because of the R/L sounds in Japanese ... xD haha), hip hop, jazz, popping, and breaking. It was a super fun visual experience! After the intro performances, we each chose two dance genres to learn the basics of it. I chose Hip hop and Locking, both of which I'm already very familiar with (unfortunately not very good though...). For Hip hop we basically did the bouncy up and down movements and this is EXACTLY WHAT I had to do at HARIE dance club at YONSEI (Korea). I basically felt like I had the same experience in both countries's schools' dance clubs except in a different language. The one at Meigaku is DEFINITELY MUCH LARGER THOUGH. Anywho, I think I will be joining this club for sure! ^___^ Can't wait!
oh yea! and since I didn't have dancing clothes but Misato just coincidentally brought two sets of clothes, she was nice enough to let me borrow one! <3
