"That’s the cheesiest pickup line I’ve ever heard."
"It is!" Salaais exclaimed, laughing lightly as he began speaking again, "And then he says; "I heard about what drell venom does to humans." And so I roll my eyes at him and walk away. Like hell I'm just going to go around giving random humans some carefully extracted venom to get high off of! I'm not a fuckin' drug deposit and I'm not going to turn into one by getting pickup lines bad enough to make an elcor cry thrown at me."

Skylar looked from the plush toy to Jeff, and back to the toy. "... Seriously? You know it won't turn into anything right?" She rolled her eyes and kissed the plush's cheek anyway.
meilkor said: "You mean the lights aren’t turned off?"
"Nnnnope, lights are all on cyar'ika... Can you see if I do this...?" She waves a hand in front of his face.

"Help me."
"Christ... What did you do?"
"Help me."
Ah, so much trouble in one day. So many things gone wrong. You would think by now Salaais would be used to it, but you never really get used to things going wrong, do you?
No time. No time for hesitation.
----Dead men laying on the ground. Salaais killed them. It was what he was best at.
Still criminals left. A hostage.
Hah! Criminals. As if such a word existed on Omega. Even Salaais was a criminal, but he was not as lowly as these men, no. He did not need to put himself this low.
Salaais decided that he was through dealing with this mess and was ready to leave, about to leave on the terms of these criminals when suddenly... a plea.
Help me. Salaais was paused by those words. Just those two, simple words. Begging for aid. No time for hesitation, his whole life... never any time for hesitation. You get killed that way. But still he stopped, conflicted. What do I care if this stranger lives or dies? he asked himself.
I'm no hero.
He growled in frustration at the overwhelming desire to rescue this individual, turning back and killing the men as swiftly as he could, but Salaais received a few minor injuries in the midst of it. And when it was over, he made his way over to the person they had held captive, hand to his side. He knelt down and began removing his restraints.
"You owe me."
