White : "While Lady" White = Pure + Peace + Clean Medium : Watercolour . DAY 10 WATERCOLOUR PAINTING . White colour, a very pure and clean colour. It is the most simple colour like a void. White, remind me of the white queen from Alice In The Wonderland, snow, ice, cold and blank paper. . In this theme, i wanna paint the character that remind me of peace and pure. She is calm and holding an iced Tulip Flower. . Colours are the most wonderful elements in life. It creates a different mood for us. It stand out in any kind of place and of course in colours. We also can see it in any formal and professional items. Black is a cool, strong and powerful colour. It also represent as mystery, unhappy and odd. Whenever, people mention black, ‘Men In Black’ poster will appeared in my head. Orelse, Gothic or Wizard characters, Halloween and night sky. . "Red Rose“ // Mellory's Day 7 Watercolour Painting Red : "Red Rose" Red = Power + Passion + Strong + Hot + Anger Medium : watercolour . DAY 7 WATERCOLOUR PAINTING . Red is the most common colour we can see around us. Don’t you think so? It seldom not miss out in colour mood. This colour is very powerful and brings a hot feeling for us. It also represent as passion and strong. Oh, not to mention, it’s also used to show anger emotion. By the way, red colour also remind me of roses, blood, Red Queen from ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Movie and Jessica Rabbit from ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’. In the ancient Greeks and Romans, rose is well-known as the goodness of love. So I draw a lady inspired from the beauty of red rose. She is surrounded by those roses. How about you? "Blue Plant (Under the Sea)" // Mellory's Day 4 Watercolour Painting Blue : "Blue Plant" (Under the Sea) Blue = Calm + Relax + Peace + Productive + Depress Medium : watercolour . DAY 4 WATERCOLOUR PAINTING . Blue colour is a kind of calm colour. It helps us to reduce stress. Besides, it produce a kind of relax and peace mood. However, it also represent as depress. When I looking at blue colour, it remind me of water, sea, ocean, sky and dreams. As well, it also remind me of Sarawak famous lake called “Tasik Biru” (Bau Lake). A very beautiful lake in Sarawak. . For this blue theme, I paint a lady who dip inside the water and dreaming that she is surrounded by coral. . Every colours bring different expression and they have different symbolism too according to psychology. Even in graphic design or interior design, they using colours to symbolize something. . 🎨🖌 Green : "Greeny Flower" Green = Nature + Fresh + Luck + Envy Medium : watercolour . DAY 3 WATERCOLOUR PAINTING . Green🌱 colour a very natural colour. It remind me of the Four Leaf Clover 🍀, grass, tea 🍵, green apple, Poision Ivy from DC Movie and Buttercup . In this green theme, i draw greeny fresh and a girl with green finger. She always a happy-go-lucky person and she is covered with Four Leaf Clover which always represent as luck. . For me, yellow 🌟 colour is a bright and energetic colour. It is playful colour. It always remind me of lemon 🍋 , chrysanthemum, sunflowers 🌻 and Autumn. . In this yellow theme, i draw a sunny and happy young girl with full of yellow flowers. 🌼 .
