[The Famine Rainbow]

i’ve created a painting based on my secondary research done in my last post.

i used various colours of red acrylic paint that reminded me of the feminine menstruation.

many male genders do not realise that our menstruation is part of being a woman and menstruation has a huge variety of colours and shade of the colour red.

our blood could be textured or smooth. are part of our period it includes many emotions and types of pain.

you may wonder why there is a black circle in the bottom right corner; well, i’ll let you decide what it means to you.

i’ve also used sanitary towel/pads to create this piece as part in my experimentation.

After I saw all those spectacular pictures from the Morrocan's Desert expedition caught by @paoloverzone . My mind jumps up again in memories of when I walked in the desert. Heritage projects, ancient history, photography: all of what most I like. That time, when you are constantly off balance.
