The movie ‘Obsession’ is reminding me of the essay I wrote about noticing that people sometimes interact with what I call a strange collectively imagined, shape-shifting, shadow version of me that is comprised of external projections and fantasies. The real me is undiscovered, at large.
Basically people just making up bullshit in their heads and interacting with their delusions, not me, the real person standing in front of them.
It's titled 'Kiss me, not the shadow.’
