A look back at 2018; a little early since I can definitely draw more this month, but I wanted to do it before I forgot.

January - I was about seven drinks in for the New Year when I started this KyouHaba picture (they’re dressed as they appear in Illusion of Choice), and posted it twice according to my archive; unless I just reblogged it. Either way, it was a nice way to ring in the New Year.
February - I carried on my Sleepy Setters drawing series for Valentine’s Day by drawing my OTP in a heart <3
March - the last drawing I did for Illusion of Choice this year, one that was never posted. It’s a scene from chapter 4, and I regret never finishing my series of drawing scenes from every chapter but like... that’s over 200k words of scenery to go through. I don’t think I’ll ever get back into drawing the scenes...
April - one of my first BakuDeku doodles, never shared to the public. It was the sketch I made of them finding Emiko, their daughter, and seeing her for the first time. I plan to get back into writing that story again, but I just... haven’t found the drive to push forward there. Story is called Truth In Gentle Eyes by the way.
May - a Lunch Time Doodle of BakuDeku at Hogwarts; I didn’t have a lot in May, most of them were all Lunch Time Doodles anyway lmao
June - my completed drawing of the Wonder Duo Family, around the time I decided to write and share Truth In Gentle Eyes. Originally, the sketch had Deku with a beard but I got rid of it because I struggled with coloring it on the computer lmao. This was also the last drawing I did on my old computer before I was gifted the one I use today.
July - my most popular drawing to date I think, and it’s a shitty sketch of a GIF I saw and decided to doodle BakuDeku. Currently, I’m working on my own GIF that will animate these sketches. Hopefully, it’ll come out great!
August - The first drawing I did on my new computer with a new program. BakuDeku as kids in my fantasy story My Soul’s Keeper. This is also the drawing where me and my love, @hijackedhoneybeeez , get our icons. The drawing is the opening scene where BakuDeku are trading their souls.
September - from BakuDeku positivity week “flowers”. I was very pleased with this drawing, especially since it was kind of the only one I managed to do lmao
October - my favorite of my inktober drawings this year, BakuDeku as Angel and Demon! They came out looking so cool, I’m very pleased :D
November - I was surprised I couldn’t find yin and yang BakuDeku drawings (at least not in the searches I made) so I went ahead and did one myself and then animated it so it would rotate. Happened around the time of the tumblr purge, so it was one of my first drawings to go on Twitter! Super fucking pleased with this one and how the colors came out, as well as the lighting.
December - older BakuDeku from My Soul’s Keeper. I drew them earlier this week but it wasn’t cute so I decided to go soft and make them all lovey dovey. The image came out better than expected and I’m extremely happy with it still! :D
