Thanks for checking out my tumblr, and another big thanks if you decide to stick around! I'm just a funky little artist trying to get by, and I hope to be here for a long time maybe.
Feel free to check out my carrd for all my other accounts.
Probably not the update people been waiting for but i needed to doodle God of Death Andrew and God of Life Aaron before i shared anything else...
from my previous post about Cultist Neil and God of Death Andrew, we have here the Twinyards.
Andrew, as the God of Death, is skeletal. Almost completely. To hide the decaying part of his body, he wears a heavy cloak around his neck and iron armor (or something I dunno clothes aren't my strong suit). He's been decaying slowly for most of his existence, an any exposed bone of his drains the life of humans he touches with said bone. SO most of his body is deadly. He still has most of his neck and his entire head intact, as well as parts of his lower half, but his torso, arms, and hands are just bones. Hmmmm wonder how that will work?
To keep up the skeleton appearance of death, he has on half of a skull (that isn't from any real creature or human, he crafted it himself to look scary lol) that followers/worshippers of him also have simple versions of to wear during rituals to him (he thinks it's stupid they do that but he won't remove his own mask to make them stop). His cloak also has a heavy hood, but if he's not wearing it (since it gets caught on his crown of thorns sometimes lmao) he also paints around his eyes in black for a shadowy look.
Meanwhile, Aaron as God of Life is bright and showy with his antlers (that Andrew could grow too, but they look like ram horns when he does and he doesn't like how they twist in on him) and moss and leaves and flowers all over. Animals like to follow him around, much to his annoyance, but his beautiful wife thinks they're cute and truthfully he loves the animals too. (Also no, I don't know who or what Katelyn is yet, just know he loves her in this universe too). Aaron is capable of healing anything with a touch; sometimes the worst off someone is the long he needs to keep his hand on them, but he's almost always willing to help.
For clothes, like I said with Andrew, I'm not that into designs (if it didn't matter, everyone would wear the same plain t-shirt and jeans lmao) so all I came up with was a cloak with leaves/foliage, a nice jacket/maybe blazer? underneath, and for his armor to mirror Andrew's, twisted together wood/branches/roots like a tree, but shaped to protect him or whatever lol I dunno I'll figure it out.
Despite being bright and showy, Aaron is just as much of a sourpuss as he is in canon, and it's possibly because the only thing he can't heal is Andrew's decaying. Also the cultists are annoying, what exactly are they after? Immortality? Not even a God is truly immortal in this world, they're just powerful in ways humans can't imagine.
That cultist Andrew's been hovering around doesn't seem so bad, but Aaron still hates the disrespectful way he's been spoken to by that idiot (and okay, maybe it's refreshing, but seriously Andrew? Him?)
