Rewatching Thunderbolts and while I'm not fully on the Val/Mel train I can absolutely admit it's a hot dynamic.

Anyways, just noticed, in the scene where Mel realizes the "rogue agents" have escaped the incinerator she gasps and Val says "Don't gasp at work."

She specifies "at work" like she wants to be clear that Mel is allowed to gasp in other places or situations!?

And this fits perfectly with the dommy subtones found in a lot of their shipping fics?!?

Aaaaand.... whoops I'm fully on the train by the end of writing this post. Send me your Val/Mel fic recs I guess. I give up. I give in.
