Where I eavesdropped on the dew drops!
I heard the dew drops falling in the jungle! For the first time in my life, I was at a place where there was pin drop silence. So much so that I could hear the dew drops collected on the leaves falling on the forest floor. The dried leaves littered the forest and the falling dew drops sounded like rain in slow motion.

↑ We are in the land of the Tiger and other big cats. ↑
↑ For the next 3 nights and 4 days, we stayed in this double storyed cottage. The top floor was connected to the terrace with the canopy of trees arching over it. ↑
Owlets hooted from the branches of these trees and a leopard had killed a giant squirrel just outside the fence of our complex.

Nature of the core forest:

↑ The jeep safari ↑
↑ The land of the tiger is full of bamboo, teak and wild tulsi. ↑
↑ The blue gulbaxi flowers and the orange lantana flowers were in bloom. ↑
↑ Though the water was only ankle deep and half of the riverbed was dry, the moss and the algae in the slow moving water had made the round stones and pebbles quite slippery. ↑
↑ The beautiful forest floor. ↑
↑ We followed our faithful companion in the forest. ↑
↑ Food was simple and delicious. Not spicy, not oily. We enjoyed the meals. ↑
