Tkdb season 2 ep 1 spoilers

Okay I finally calmed down I can talk about my thoughts of the episode.

So honestly I'm kinda upset they didn't continue with the events of ep 24 and we're still left clueless about most everything... But I have to admit I freaking loved this episode so much.

Might be my favourite episode like genuinely I had such a good time reading it.

At first I thought they were going to show us all the missions and events we missed during season 1, but after the conversation with elias I realised this was more of a time loop or alternative timeline rather than showing us flashbacks.

Theory which got mostly confirmed with the apparition of the dionysia ghouls. (AHDHSHDBJSBDJSJSJDBD I SO OBSESSED WITH THEM BUT I'LL TALK ABOUT THEM LATER)

Nonetheless I really enjoyed starting with the samhein festival since it was something I was curious about and sad we didn't get in season 1.

Can we talk about the anomaly? Cus I absolutely adored them, so I wasn't familiar with the town musicians of Bremen story so I was so surprised when they got revealed and aaahhh I really love their design it's so cool.

And yes I also liked their song, I genuinely wasn't expecting this and honestly I had a blast and was so upset at the chancellor for wanting to get rid of them when they never did anything bad.

I also really liked the montage with the scrapbook pages, like the artistic choices for this episode were absolutely peak. (Except for the use of ai, still hate that)

KAITO UGH KAITO MY BOY!!! I was so happy he was in the spotlight in this episode, he didn't get to dance with the mc but they had a cute date AND THE SONG WHEN HE SAID I LOVE YOU AND THEN IT SHOWED MC I STARTED SCREAMING LIKE HE'S SO IN LOVE WITH HER!!!!

I don't want anyone else to end up with the mc except for kaito.

I honestly was so happy seeing him all episode, and this moment hurt me so

LIKE WHY DO YOU NEED TO PUT SALT ON THE WOUND MY BOY WON'T BE ALIVE NEXT YEAR THIS WAS PLAIN CRUEL

Moving on... Zenji :D I always get happy whenever we see him in an episode, and he's always fantastic and honestly I'm starting to think he'll become my favourite character soon enough.

Also how is it that haku is always everywhere he's not supposed to be. Like he probably appears the most often in the background of episodes and he's always acting suspicious.

Might be mean of me but when they announced CSC as the winners my first thought was that the chancellor tempered with the votes to destroy the anomaly. Jiro being the one behind it was a surprise to me, but it's also so him to do something like that.

And now for the dionysia ghouls aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

But boy oh boy, how was I supposed to stay sane wwith these crazy attractive guys show up???

Like I usually feel like crying just remembering elias, like that's how hot he is

AND THEN YOU JUST SHOW ME MIO SHION AND JO AND EXPECT MY HEART TO JUST WORK NORMALLY??!?!!?!!!

I screamed seeing shion, like that freak is gonna bring out the hidden freak inside of me.

Also was expecting jo to look like mio ans mio to look like jo so wow

Jo being blond is like kriptonite to me, I fell on my knees at such beauty.

Mio is also very grrr but honestly he just gave me sho vibes so that's why I'm not as crazy about him as I am for the others.

Which brings out another point I wanted to add, about how the new ghouls just seem similar to some already existing characters we have.

I really hope next episode they'll be able to stand out as their own character and not a copy of the ogs we love.

Bcs rn they're new so we're all crazy about them, but after a while we'll all get tired lf them if they're just cheap copies of the others.
