I really vaciliate on prints - sometimes I want the most over the top obnoxious sweet print ever, but I go through phases where I want to mostly wear basics as well. I thought this MeLikesTea JSK could be a great pick for my basic phases!

MeLikesTea is known for doing a lot of custom colorways. I decided to go with a plain black version of this dress.

They also offer multiple fabric types - cotton and voile. I chose voile because it's a little more dressy and less likely to wrinkle. I really hate maintaining my cotton dresses lol. The fabric is bouncy and shiny - the photo really doesn't do it justice. I paired it with my MeLikesTea petticoat and it's super fluffy!

The size chart for MeLikesTea is extensive - I ordered a M (bust 100 to 130) and it fits extremely comfortably.

I love that it's so versatile. I can't wait to wear it with all kinds of accessories!

In June 2024 we had our annual Rainbow Meetup. I was pink.

We made a gorgeous rainbow spread of food, played games, and were raucous and queer. Not surprisingly the majority of our comm seems to fall under the rainbow umbrella. If I've left you guessing as to my denomination it is ace.

I'm still recovering from spending a lot at The Great Lace, but I'm hoping to get another Melikestea petticoat soon. I've been making it this far on a hybrid poof monster and lemme tell you, as much as I adore it, it is NOT a great fit for everything. I'm hoping to get an A-line one. Will decide on a color after measuring some dresses.

Hello! I used to wear Lolita regularly some years ago, but I would really like to start again after a long, long break. I’ve seen that my go to shop, classical puppets, seems to have lost some of it’s quality in the meantime apparently, so I wanted to ask if you have any go to stores for good quality pettis? Have a nice day!!

Classical Puppets was my go-to for a long time too and I’m very disappointed that their quality has suffered in recent years. Last year I finally had to get a new petti and I went with Me Likes Tea and I LOVE it. They’re very comfortable and hold their shape very well. They also give really good descriptions of their petticoats to help you get the one that’s perfect for your needs and they’re super size inclusive. I’ve had mine for a little over a year and I’m still in love and everyone else I’ve heard talking about them loves theirs too.
