This is a crepuscular and hallucinated work, where tango merges with poetry, Greek music and psychedelia. Far from the clichés of traditional tango, Daniel Melingo offers a hybrid sound territory, inhabited by marginal characters, existentialist deliriums and cinematographic atmospheres. There's also a multilingual dimension: Spanish and Italian intertwine, as if Melingo were weaving a mestizo language to say what tango can no longer say at all. It's an album to listen to in its entirety, like a short novel or a black and white film tinged with red.
