I am dressing for the service of a god who is dead.

Pomigliano d’Arco, Naples, spring 1944, Free French Air Force’s Groupe de Reconnaissance 2/33, or GR2/33, (Recce Group 2/33): parachute’s control of the Lockheed F-5, recce version of the P-38 Lightning number 80 “Jeanne”, a famous aircraft: “Jeanne” was the plane assigned at Antoine de Sainty-Exupéry, the same upon which will meet one’s end on 31 July 1944
OK I know that at heart, The Little Prince is a philosophical novel and Saint ex had many of these themes throughout all of his work and the setting was really just a backdrop. But I would love to have seen him try his hand at more sci-fi had he lived longer. Prince from space on a tiny planet with a single rose? Pills that keep you from getting thirsty so you don't have to waste time to drink? Has the book's contribution to sci fi been actually overshadowed by the cultural themes it made?? I don't know.
at the least Little prince is aesthetic goals.
