ANNOUNCEMENT
For the next 24 hours Meliorarp will go through some visual changes. The admin team has talked about it a long time and we feel like it’s the right thing to do. Please be patient with us - we think and hope the new design will be a lot better than the one we currently have.
Due to not having submitted the blog, or contacted the admin team within the time limit, the character Amycus Carrow has been re-opened.
We would like to remind everyone to finish their threads from the Christmas event! You can create new threads based on what happened of course, but to move on with the timeline and events in the rp, we ask you to wrap things up.
Meliorarp is now officially an appless role play! The new application form can be found here, and we ask all our current members kindly to fill out and send in the form for your character. That way we can easily add them to the characters list.
The Yule Ball week is officially here!
Welcome to each and every one of you! Remember to tag all your starters and other posts (photos etc.) with meliorayuleball, and still tag starters with meliorastarter so it can easily be found by others. While we initially stated that all threads must be finished by the 30th of December, we will expand it to January 3rd. You can start other threads after the 30th, for example about New Year’s Eve, if you want to. To sum it up; the event will still end on the 30th, but threads may continue to January 3rd. By then we ask that you finish your ongoing event-threads.
It is finally time to reveal your Secret Santa identity! Submit your gift to your lucky one, which means everyone must have their submit boxes turned on! You can either submit a photo/photo collage of what you’re giving them, or you can describe it. Add a little note, or a Christmas Card and write your name at the end so they’ll know who it’s from. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to message us.
After some discussion, we have decided to make a slight change to our applications. We have removed the para sample, made the bio part much easier and also removed the “why do you want to play them”-question. We know writing a lot feels stressful for many people, as well as it triggers performance anxiety - which leaves people not wanting to join simply because the application becomes too much. So, that’s why we decided to make the application a lot easier - both for canon and oc characters. The new applications can be found here. Welcome!
