Name: Alysandre Greyjoy

Gender: Female

General appearance: Alysandre, or Alys for short, is very pale of skin, with the attractive facial features indicative of House Greyjoy.  She has smoky grey eyes and red hair, however.  

Personality:  She is a strange child; not one to make friends and very attracted to fire.  She has a very not-of-the-isles vibe about her. 

Special talents: Avoiding human interaction? she can see into the flames, under very controlled circumstances.  Her visions are even vaguer than her mother's.

Who they like better:  She likes her mother more.  She would be like Melisandre in every way if she could.

Who they take after more: She is more like Melisandre, but not terribly like either of them.

Personal headcanon: She gets a lot of burns on her hands and arms because she gets very enthusiastic when looking into the flames, whether she sees things or not.  Probably going to end up giving Victarion even more grey hairs because of this.

The way they had dragged her by the hair, held her while she struggled, kicked her when she didn't obey, had left its marks on her ivory skin. The bruising and swelling was getting worse, the lack of sleep, the lack of food wasn't helping either. Cersei didn't see the extent of the wounds nor the blackened skin but she knew it was worse than anything Robert had ever caused. So when she was shoved roughly to the floor of a cell she wasn't surprised. Her hands still bound behind her she was unable to guard her face from the impact. She turned her head to the side and cried in agony as the cold flooring made contact with her cheek. She would not let a tear fall, she would hold strong and carry these marks as an armor for herself. She'd shield herself with them, drawing strength from each and every one of them.

          She had been captured, she knew it. There was no way for her to escape, not when she was alone. She would have to trust her Lord Father, if he was still alive, to save her. She knew it must have been Stannis Baratheon, North was too far and they hadn't traveled that far. She didn't even know if the city had fallen during the battle, last she knew they were still battling it out. But she assumed that the rightful King had been victorious, since she was dragged all the way back to Dragonstone, she assumed.

          Someone cut out the rope binding her hands together, but she remained unmoved until the door was locked and the footsteps no longer echoed in the empty dungeon. She pushed herself off the floor and winced as every bone in her body demanded attention, screaming at her. She went to lean against a wall, sliding down, her fingers gripping onto the stones of the wall as she did so. Her nails had been broken, her fingertips were bloody and sore. She was a wounded lioness and nothing like a Queen Regent. She doubted she would even recognize her own reflection, broken, bloodied but not beaten down. The fire within her burned brighter and stronger than ever.
