The difference in their reaction made me laugh. Mel is so happy she can ring the bell and Trinity just throws it in the trash lol.
she should be running the ED actually lets be real
what's up with you? you usually ride in here on your unicorn tossing wild flowers...
okay but it’s interesting bc parker ellis seems to get mel king in a way I haven’t seen yet.
she GETS her!!!
she loopholes terminology with mel! so that mel doesn’t get too stuck on the rule of ‘no discussing the case’ - by using a different word and framing it as a monologue allows mel to give herself permission to be listen. and permission to be comforted.
parker is firm but kind in her utterly adamant stance that mel needs to hear this now and needs to understand it - and it was, in parker’s very clear way, telling mel that her disposition just went well and mel shouldn’t worry about her own. and she doesn’t just say platitudes - she presents it with facts as if it’s a case. she so assuredly confidently tells mel that this is how it is. and unlike the others, dr ellis is the ONLY other person who can 1000% surely say this bc she was there with mel and she is ALSO being sued
anyways i love their dynamic this is so cool to see someone communicate in a way that is better aimed to get through to mel - and should hopefully do so
