yeah from least painful to most painful of my tattoos i would say finger knuckle (i got a white ink tattoo there just because of interest in the longevity of white ink, it’s been several years and it’s still there?? and it felt like a mosquito bite), chest + ankle are tied for “dull pain that is easily ignored”, neck was uncomfortable merely because i had to lean forward for an hour because of the design, back stung horribly when it was being colored in, calf was just fine on the bottom but ABSOLUTELY AWFUL near the top, like I was surprised it was worse than having 30+ needles poking over my spine.
