WOW IT'S LIKE I'VE NOT BEEN ON MY COMPUTER IN ALMOST A WEEK LOL WHAT IS THIS......
(Yeah I felt like I needed to answer this ask once I was officially back on my computer, sorry this took so long.)
Is your character knowledgable? Is it the knowledge earned from experience or from books?
All of my Blood Elf characters (Nuellen, Mellarue, Tanwynn) have had advanced academic learning and then higher learning in certain skills or trades, Mellarue and Tanwynn probably have a bit more political learning than Nuellen, but seeing that she's lived longer than the other two and her aspirations for higher rank in the Farstriders, she's been making efforts to be much more learned. Their learning has all been a combination of experience and book-learning.
My trolls have only basic knowledge of their skills and the world around them from experience. Shi can read, but she only reads what comes out of Xul'ili's library while Itsuna cannot.
Nelarynn went through schooling on Kul Tiras before deciding to leave when she became old enough. She can read, write, and pay her bills with no trouble.
★ Either pair!
I’ll do both! :D
Tanwynn:
It was an early evening out and Tanwynn had suggested she and Samuel could go have dinner somewhere nice and then a walk around Silvermoon. It was truly a lovely and peaceful night, but something started to nag at her that it should be more than just peaceful. She started to tease him playfully, smiling and nudging him with her hip. Smirks were flashed here and there until finally, he gave her a look of his own.
"What’s gotten into you tonight?"
"I can tell you what hasn’t…yet." She chuckled before suddenly feeling a whoosh of air. Strong hands had grabbed her sides and soon she saw the road beneath her as Sam seemed to be finding his way back home. Or maybe a room for the night? Either way, she couldn’t hold back the boisterous laugh that she felt.
Mellarue:
Early morning just outside of Brill was a cool, crisp one, and after a long night of training with Relleron, the priestess was still too tired to get out of bed. She could hear the sounds of movement and her breathing body pillow wasn’t within reach, which meant she would have to get up.
Eventually.
There was a good morning said to her from outside the tent, but she merely groaned and rolled over, muttering into her blankets, “Five more minutes.”
"You’ve said that the past fifteen minutes. I have to put down the tent now, everything else has been cleared up."
She grunted her response and shrank into herself some more. Normally she could get up just fine and be her cheery self, but perhaps that little extra bit of sleep was something her own body wanted for her. She wouldn’t be getting that opportunity though, when she felt a strong hand grasp her ankle and pull. With a yelp, she rolled onto her back and blinked away the morning light, stunned as she felt herself being hoisted up and thrown over a shoulder.
"Augh, hey! Alright! Put me down, I gotta get dressed." She gave a small kick and wiggled a bit as she did so.
"Stop flailing so much, and I will…" She heard him chuckle, "…but if you don’t want to, it’s all the same to me. I don’t mind the view this morning."

What If Wednesday!
Alright guys, it's that time of the week. Send me your what-ifs and I'll do my best to send one back to you when I'm home.
For Mellarue: What if things had actually worked out between her and Rell? Where do you think they'd be today?
This is a pretty personal one for me to answer, since these two were roleplayed so long ago and I loved every minute of it until the end, I gotta take my time with it.
When Mell and Rell were first being roleplayed together as friends, I didn’t see much of a pairing/romance happening between them. But Mell’s kindness and need to keep him safe and healthy was sort of what grew my affection for the two of them being a couple. From the beginning, I could see that Relleron would be getting himself into all kinds of trouble, whether it would be intentional or not, and Mell would always want to be there for him to be that support that a damaged (physically or emotionally) character always needs but never gets.If things had worked out, if they both were capable of being able to claim each other and not anyone else, Mellarue likely would’ve been a strong, supportive woman for him. No, she was never physically strong, but she always looked at this particular Blood Knight and thought to herself, “I have enough space in my heart for all the hurt he has.” She would have followed him happily to wherever he was sent to be a dutiful warrior (or reckless fighter) and try to ease his pains with her healing and ease his troubles with calming words and lots of love to give. They would easily go off to battle together, with his prowess with a sword, and her ability to shield him from the worst of it.It would not be an easy life, but the beginning would always be spent helping him. But I always thought of the one night where Mellarue really needed him. She was sick and weak and he was there to keep her safe and comfortable, and held her close despite the fever and aches she had in her muscles. I saw that kind of a future for them.Despite all the support and love she would give to him, she would have her limits and that’s when he would come to the rescue. I saw that perhaps sometime farther in the future, his duties would’ve trickled down and he would have more free time, and the two of them would discuss children and she would do all she could to make him happy. They’d be able to go out and have fun. She would have probably been able to soften his own feelings about public settings and he’d be a little warmer whenever Mell was around with him.
I remember at one point it was mentioned that Relleron needed a woman who understood his mind and had sort of “been there” with similar situations in order to really “get” him. But my one thought was that she had seen and heard and healed too many injured that she practically was there for them. In her early years, she had actually tried to use her priestly powers to see into their minds in order to find out what was really ailing them, but then she would also see the images of battles and horrors that they had gone through. That made her all the more serious about healing them, wanting their pain to be gone, so they could be happy again. So in one light, she really had "been there" and knew that everything that Relleron had been going through / had endured, she could try to heal it to the best of her abilities. If there were going to be nights where he would wake up in a cold sweat from nightmares or inner doubts, Mell had wanted to be there to soothe and help and heal. That’s the one thing about Mellarue that I knew was a downfall for her. She was always a caring person to the point that it was her fault. Perhaps that came to be because I lucked out in character creation and her character name on Moon Guard is “Mellon.” For those who don’t know or hadn’t paid attention to Lord of the Rings, that’s the elvish word for “friend.” She would’ve done anything for those she cared most deeply about. And at the time, Relleron was at the top of that list. I’m sad things didn’t work out for them, but I think through all that, I’ve been able to strengthen her resolve and her ability to tell others “No” when there’s something that seems too far beyond her ability to handle.
The tl;dr version of this post is basically: “I saw them being a dynamic and happy couple,” but I had far too much in my mind to just leave it at that.
