I love how in LoTR, when the Fellowship has to enter the Mines of Moria via the door Celebrimbor built, they all waited whilst Gandalf was working out the code.

Then, once "Mellon" was said, Gandalf really went, "Ahah, how clever of Celebrimbor! 🤓Didn't see that one coming, heh! 😈 Tut tut, gotta work this brain now, huh Frodo? 😅"

Imagine Gigolas + Aragorn in battle. Legolas is on his 13th kill when he yells "13, Meleth-" When stops bc he was about to accidentally out himself and Gimli (Aragorn alr knows).

So he tries to correct himself by quickly saying "Mellon!" and carries on with his task.

He gets teased a *lot* after that.
