Nach 1 1/2 Jahren Konzertpause hat Alin Coen bei uns ihr erstes Konzert als unser Special Guest gespielt. Zur Zeit ist sie in Mexiko unterwegs und im September gibt es Teil 2 ihrer erfolgreichen “Alles was ich hab” Tour.  Hier die Tourdaten:

Die wunderbare Dota war neben Alin Coen eine unserer Special Guests, die wir bis einen Tag vor ihrem Auftritt geheim gehalten hatten. Gaaaanz bald findet ihr hier auch Neuigkeiten zu dem was wir uns für dieses Jahr so überlegt haben.

+++ THE BLACK ATLANTIC (NL) +++

The Black Atlantic steht für das Pseudonym des Komponisten und Sängers Geert van der Velde. Seine Musik wird als Melancholie beschrieben und dabei kann man in Zeiten von Indietronic-Bands usw auch mal einen Gang zurückschalten und die Musik auf sich wirken lassen und genießen. Einfühlsam und sanft – die Einfachheit, die vom Wesentlich spricht.

Geert kann man weiterhin auch als Black Oak mit Thijs Kuijken von I am Oak sehen, die im Mai 2016 ihr Debütalbum „Equinox“ veröffentlichten – zwei Stimmen die auf eine besondere Weise miteinander harmonisieren. The Black Atlantic is the pseudonym of the composer and singer Geert van der Velde. His music is described as melancholy and in times of Indietronic bands etc. this enables the listener to shift down a gear, get carried away and enjoy the music. Sensitive and gentle - its this simplicity that speaks of the essential.

Furthermore Geert also plays under "Black Oak" with Thijs Kuijken of I am Oak, and in May 2016 they released their debut album "Equinox” - two voices that harmonize with each other in a special way.

+++ FABRIZIO CAMMARATA (IT) +++

Sanft geleitet uns der reizende gebürtige Palermitaner, der seine Inspiration vor allem aus seiner Heimat und dem Mittelmeer zieht, in seinen melodischen Folk und Blues, dabei vereint er zusätzlich in seinen Songs die Einflüsse südamerikanischer und afrikanische Rhythmen – ein fantastisches Zusammenspiel. Fabrizio zeigt auf eine ungezwungene Weise die Suche nach der musikalischen Ehrlichkeit und verbindet dabeidie Liebe zum Detail in seiner Musik – ein ganz eigener eleganter Sound.

Er ist ein fester Begriff der italienischen Musiklandschaft und erzielte mit seinem ersten Album „The Second Grace“, u.a. in der MTV Heavy Rotaion und in den Playlisten großer Radiosendern, interessante und preisgekrönte Erfolge. The lovely native Palermitan draws his inspiration mainly from his homeland and the Mediterranean. He gently entices audiences with his melodic folk and blues, meanwhile, his songs are also influenced by South American and African rhythms - a fantastic combination.

Fabrizio indicates in a laid back way, the search for musical honesty, combining love of detail in his music - a completely distinct elegant sound.

„Wer ist er? Wie, er ist erst 23-Jahre – mit der Stimme?“ – viele dieser Fragen haben auch wir in der letzten Zeit über ihn gehört oder gelesen. Fil Bo Riva ist ein charmanter Typ, über den man einfach mehr wissen möchte. Mit einer Mischung aus Folk und Soul verbindet er seine Songs mit viel Gefühl und Dynamik – seine ausdrucksstarke Stimme transportiert dies auf eine umwerfende Weise. Er ist 23, wuchs in Rom auf, verbrachte seine Jugend in Dublin und 2013 zog es ihn nach Berlin.

„…fühlt sich an wie eine Flucht aus der rationalen Realität in die Welt der Sinne. Who is he? How is he only 23-years-old - and with that voice?!" - lately we have heard and read many of these questions about him.

Fil Bo Riva is a charming fellow and one we simply had to know more about. His unique mix of folk and soul infuse his songs with great feeling and a dynamic momentum - his stunning voice conveys this in an expressive manner. This 23-year-old grew up in Rome, spent his youth in Dublin and in 2013 he moved to Berlin.

+++ DAIANA LOU (IT) +++

Vielleicht habt Ihr sie auch schon einmal im Mauerpark und beim Alexanderplatz gesehen - wir hatten von ihnen bereits gehört und sahen sie durch Zufall dann kurz danach live. Daiana und Luca heißen die beiden Bandmitglieder, die sich bei ihren Songs von Soul, Blues und italienischer Folklore inspirieren lassen.

Seit 2013 spielt das aus Italien stammende Duo zusammen und ihr Traum ist es durch Europa zu reisen, was sie im Juni 2015 nach Berlin brachte. Sie wollen mit ihren Songs die Menschen erreichen und sie lächeln sehen – lasst Euch von ihrer Energie anstecken.

Maybe you've already seen them playing live in Mauerpark or at Alexanderplatz? We heard about them from you guys and then simply stumbled across them playing live by chance!

Daiana and Luca are the names of the band members and their songs are influenced by soul, blues and Italian folk. Originally from Italy, the couple dreamt of travelling through Europe and this is what brought them to Berlin in June 2015. They hope to reach out to people with their songs, see them smile and infect them with their energy.
