Imagine having an overall crappy day when you see your husband making his way to your office with your favorite flowers in his hand and a smile on his face.
“Loki!” You jump to your feet and rush to meet him. It seems just a little too perfect that he would personally bring you flowers on a bad day, but you don’t question it.
He embraces you, saying he “just had to see you,” before melodramatically handing you the bouquet.
After work, you take the flowers home, since your desk is unbelievably cluttered and it would break your heart to knock over the vase and ruin the flowers.
As you’re both getting ready for bed that night, Loki notices you pausing every so often to admire the bouquet. He smiles, proud of himself.
You decide to put a fresh splash of water in the vase when you’ve finished your evening routine.
Loki watches from underneath the covers, still wearing that self-satisfied grin.
“You know, darling…” he begins. “The flowers are enchanted.”
“Oh? How’s that?”
He wraps an arm around you as you join him.
“They’ll never wilt.”
