Eddie grabbed the orange juice and drank straight from the carton. He wiped his mouth before responding, “What do you want?”
You scoffed, “Wow, because I pay you a compliment, you think I want something.”
He fixed you with an annoyed stare, one that he would give you when he wanted you to get to the point.
The fake smile on your face fell and you rolled your eyes, “Fine! I may need your help with something.”
“I am not dealing with a spider in your apartment again, I almost died last time.”
“Stop being dramatic, you did not almost die!”
“I did!” he slammed the carton of orange juice on the counter, ignoring the juice that splashed out, and kicked the fridge closed with his foot, “you didn’t tell me that I would be dealing with a giant spider out of DND. That thing could have dealt some serious damage.”
“Yeah, and if I recall, you dealt some serious damage of your own when you had the oh so brilliant idea to make a flame thrower with my hairspray. I have scorch marks on my bedroom wall to prove it. I’m never getting my security deposit back by way.”
“I told you I was sorry!”
“Actually, now that I think about it, you said you owed me one, and I’m ready to cash that favor in.”
Eddie released a sigh, “Fine, how will I be repaying my debt to you?” he grabbed the carton of orange juice again and took a sip.
You decided to just blurt it out, “I need you to be my boyfriend.”
