By the time Saskia finished her shift at the record store, she already had a pounding headache and wanted nothing more than to go home, crawl into bed and sleep for a month. She hated working there sometimes, but it was a means to an end.
Walking past Family Video, she took a quick glance inside before intending to keep walking but she froze. Is that-No, it can't be. Pushing the doors open, a sly smirk came onto her lips. "Well, well, well, if it isn't King Steve Harrington himself. I had no idea you worked here."
Steve is preoccupied, flipping through the new inventory lists that were dropped off this morning. The bell to the door caused him to bring his attention to the customer. No way, Saskia?? "Saskia...hi!" Steve looks down, shaking his head. "I haven't heard that name in years.. I do. For almost a year now. How are you? You look great." Steve feels the head forming in his cheeks. Get it together, Steve.
Steve moves from behind the counter, offering her a smile.
I'm doing okay! Tired as all hell and I'm ready to go back to sleep, how're you, handsome? <3
