Wedding dress.

My brother told me about something he'd seen when he was 8 or so yesterday.

He had been at a friend's house, a big old place in the woods. They'd been playing in the halls, running from end to end. They saw someone coming, a woman in a wedding dress, a ghost. She was fairly young and blonde, but obviously dead. They barricaded themselves in a room to hide from her.

Hours later, they talked to one of the adults in the house. There had been no one in the house in the last few decades that had worn a wedding dress, and no blonde women had been in the house that day. The only connections they could think of were the numerous murders of young women in the mid 18th century to early 20th century.
