Since this was asked for some of the older spinels but not the newer ones, what would the spinels' favorite animals be?

Obviously, Luna’s fave would be sheep

Chunni isn’t a fan of the animals on Earth.. especially squirrels

Along with plants, Poppy has fun taking care of all kinds of farm animals too. Her fave is cows or horses

Mel likes to over feed the chickens

Sparky likes to play with the frogs that come out after the rain

Jinx likes bugs. Any kind of bug

So you remember that post where you drew your spinels next to each other to display their height differences? Did you just put images of them next to each other or did you actually have to draw them next to each other? Because I'm trying to make a height difference chart for my own spinels and all I'm doing is just scaling the references I made of them next to each other but it doesn't look like the height measurements between them are very accurate

Resizing different pictures doesn’t work too well, cause proportions and other things could be off

First, I googled a height chart

Since all their heights are based around Spinel’s (reformed) height, I made a quick sketch of her to start

Then I copy/paste my guides, adding their names and heights, before lining them up on the chart

After that, I make messy sketches of each character. I try to keep them as proportionate to each other, and to themselves, as I can. I’ll go in later and adjust/fix anything I need to before doing the final sketch/ink/color

It’s good to keep a reference

But even I mess up their heights all the time lol

Would Orange and Melon get along?

Mel would have to learn what Orange’s boundaries are

But I think they would get along great!

Mel is an entertainment spinel who sings

She can be a little shy around new people, but warms up quickly

She can also be a little awkward once she's comfortable around someone

Is Mel a newly-emerged spinel, or did Poppy just find her one day?

Both!

She is newly emerged, but no one knows where she came from.

Mel just showed up in Poppy's garden one day and started following her around

Poppy even brought Mel to Peridot to try to get some more information about her, but Peridot couldn't figure anything else out either

Poppy offered to keep an eye on Mel for a bit, and eventually grew to enjoy having the little spinel around

How would the spinels respond to being bullied by humans?

Club is more sensitive, so she may be more hurt by it.

Spade isn't bothered by it too much. Whether she's just oblivious to it is up for debate, but if her sisters are hurt by it, she'll fight back with all she's got.

Diamond isn't bothered by it. She would manipulate their words and twist the meaning right back at them full force.

Orange has been through it all for a long time. Both from her previous owner and from being labeled as off colored. It still hurts every time.

Rook really doesn't give a crap and will usually snap back with her own brand of sarcasm (which tends to catch others off guard). Even if the insults did hurt her, who the hell would know lol

Chunni will just get mad. She'll cry if it hurts her enough, bit she'll be crying as she's kicking their ass.

Luna will feel bad and may even be hurt by it. Especially if they make fun for her for being corrupted, or for her uncontrollable sleeping habits. She'll find comfort from her friends until she feels better.

Poppy does what she can to ignore it, but she can only take so much. She'll spend her time gardening alone until she feels better.

Mel isn't bothered by it. She'll at laugh at herself. The only time she really feels bad is if Poppy or her friends are hurt, then she'll do what she can to make them happy again, or keep them company.

Lilith will laugh and throw every insult right back 10xharder (maybe even with a fist). She really isn't bothered by it unless her past is brought up, then she'll just get mad.
